Ten of them: farmer, shepherd, weaver, carpenter, forester and more. Each settler takes up the tools, the hat and the day's work.
No one left in the cold
Four seasons, seven days each. When the frost comes, the town gathers at its campfire, and the weaver's warm clothes matter more than ever.
Then night falls, and they come with fire.
Goblin raids arrive after dark, torches in hand. Roofs catch, and someone has to carry the water.
